Message from the Revd Murray Woolnough

Bee, Toby and I have had a great time in the UK but we are really looking forward to being with you in Woy Woy. We're excited about having the opportunity to join in with what God has been doing in the life
of your community.

We are currently in Newbury, about an hour west of London. I serve at St Nicolas' Church, which is the town centre parish. It seeks to be open to people of all ages with a mix of traditional and family-style worship. My time there has been a great, but challenging experience and I feel I have learned a lot. It has been a good place from which to reach out to the local community, and I'm chaplain to the local police force and an air cadets group.

Bee is a social worker, and has been working with the protection of older people. She grew up in West Pennant Hills, not a million miles from where you are. Bee's mum lives in Umina Beach and it will be great to have family close again.

We have a three-year-old son, Toby. Although he was born here in the UK, we have made sure that he gets a decent cultural education - regular doses of 'The Wiggles' and sometimes 'The Man from Snowy River' or books about Aussie animals before he goes to sleep! He's really looking forward to living in Australia.

Please keep us in your prayers as you are in ours.
